Ossies Surf Shop is proud to offer the best brands in the world for you to take out and surf before you commit to purchasing that new board. These ARE NOT RENTAL BOARDS! Demo boards are available to surfers with enough experience that they understand how fragile a surfboard is and they know how to take care of one. Each demo board that goes out is carefully inspected, with any previous scratches, dings or dents noted on the rental form, before the board leaves the shop. Upon return the demo board is re-inspected to determine if the board has sustained any new damage, if so, the person who demoed the board will be held responsible for any damages. Everything required to demo a surfboard is the same as renting ,you must be over 18 years of age (or have an adult sign for you), complete a rental form agreement and leave a deposit to cover the board being used (usually an open credit card). A demo fee of $30 per day will be charged only if you do not purchase a board, this charge will be held on your customer account and can be redeemed toward the purchase of a new surfboard within 30 days from the date the demo board is returned. With Ossies Surf Shops close proximity to the best surf on the central Oregon coast you can simply walk to and from the beach and try several different shapes, all in one day!
